Ongoing collaboration with service organization in South of Market District in San Francisco, CA
    Various locations in San Francisco

Part of a larger long-term collaboration since 2012 with the South of Market Community Action Network/SOMCAN, this partnership with an active multi-service providing non-profit continues to produce a range of outcomes. This work led by organizational families include: community led exhibitions, media workshops, contemporary art courses, and cross-institutional neighborhood campaigns.

SOMCAN’s mission is to highlight voices of low-income, immigrant, single parents, seniors, youth and families on a larger scale. This introduces new people to SOMCAN’s free services and programs as these collaborative iterations examine issues like affordable housing awareness, pedestrian safety, and immigrant transitions to urban San Francisco.
Projects occur in contested urban spaces and key locations from public parks, senior centers, and civic offices. One key durational work highlights the park climbing structure as a constant site of play, overlooking the civic skyline.
